-empyre- would like to thank Sean Cubitt for his generosity of knowledge
and spirit, energy and insight during his guest spot on time/space/movement
, particularly for continuing through some list discipline problems, which
have been resolved.
the list now has a short break before the last session of the -empyre-
year resumes on 1 September. The topics for the next few months include an
investigation of other art forms like code poetry and the Japanese
mathematically based Method art movement, wireless networks, avatar
manifestos and constructing virtual space, and cyberfemminisms...
maybe during the next few weeks people who have joined during the last few
months may like to do some short intros.. or something..:)
I had intended to end -empyre- in December, however because your response
as list subscribers has been so good, it will continue next year. Christina
McPhee, a US West Coast media artist, and Adrian Miles a writer and video
blogger from RMIT, Melbourne are joining me as co-moderators and
co-administrators, giving some fresh perspective to scheduling next years
guests and topics.
